KS3 Geography Teachers' Toolkits: Introducing India

This unit supports an integrated approach, with students studying both the physical and human features of India. The focus on opportunities and challenges has been chosen to foster a questioning attitude in students, encouraging them to look at issues from different perspectives. The unit will extend students’ knowledge and understanding of location, environment, population, urbanisation, tourism, trade, economic growth, aid and international development in this diverse, rapidly-changing and globally-significant Asian country.
