Green Horizons primary INSET days

Our primary INSET days are designed to engage and inspire teachers to move beyond the classroom, and towards taking more pupils outside.

It will support you in embedding sustainability and nature connection within your curriculum as well as giving you lots of ideas for developing geography fieldwork.

This INSET day is run by the GA and the FSC. You can include as many teachers and support staff in the training as you need.

What we cover:
We focus on how to effectively embed sustainability and nature connection throughout the entire curriculum.

The day includes sessions on:
•    the rooted teacher; building wellbeing and nature connection
•    mapping the future; green skills in geography
•    high quality geography in the school grounds
•    climate education without the fear
