This course will develop an understanding of how young children begin to make sense of the world around them through exploration, observation, discussion, and play-based learning experiences. Sarah will explore geographical concepts appropriate for early years settings, including place, environment, weather, maps, and communities, providing practical strategies that encourage curiosity about local and wider environments.
