In this course, we will explore geographical enquiry as a key component of disciplinary knowledge. We’ll start by considering why geographical enquiry is our signature pedagogy before looking at its critical importance for developing good geographers. Our conversations and discussions will be grounded in the curriculums and content that we teach in our classrooms every day and so we’ll look at what geographical enquiry looks like in the knowledge-rich age before exploring what it means to bring this to life in the classroom, and with fieldwork.
