High quality teaching and learning in primary geography

 01/05/2024 - 22/05/2024

This course will use the Primary Geography Quality Mark key indicators and draw on a wealth of examples to help you audit your geography provision.

Book Now Closing date: 26 April 2024

Every year schools from all around the UK and beyond complete the rigorous Primary Geography Quality Mark (PGQM) process and as result many receive the prestigious GA ‘Quality Mark’. This course will use PGQM Key Indicators and draw on a wealth of submissions to help you audit your geography provision, explore what an ambitious high quality geography curriculum looks like and how you can plan to implement one in your school. Through a range of practical activities you will integrate and build your own geographical skills and knowledge, reflecting on how to coherently plan ways for this to be cascaded down to your pupils.

Meet your course leader, Emma.
