The GA Annual Conference and Exhibition 2024 will be held from 4 – 6 April 2024 at University Place, the University of Manchester.

All three days offer you the chance to get involved with the GA community, meet colleagues from around the country and the world and take part in three days of excellent CPD. 

For this year's theme of 'Geography for Everyone,' we're inviting you all to share your experiences and practice with the community and there's lots of ways to get involved:

Day One

• Field visits for all phases
• Live panel debate
• Bookclub
• Live podcast recording
• ITE and ECT meetup
• Public lecture
• Reception at Manchester Museum
• Conference Dinner

Days Two and Three

• The usual wide range of lectures, workshops, teacher-to-teacher sessions and research papers to inspire your practice.
• A vibrant exhibition space featuring exam boards, travel companies, educational suppliers, charities, publishers, and more.
• Our Annual Conference TeachMeet and Quiz on the second evening.
• Chances to visit our GA shop, plus a popup from our journals.
• On Day three we host GEO Live, giving students from KS3-5 the chance to get hands-on experience with real-life geographers.

Choosing your ticket

There are three options for tickets: One day, Two days and All days. Early bird discounts apply from 1 September to 19 January, so get your tickets soon to benefit from up to £20 off.

All prices are subject to an Early Bird discount up to 19 January 2024.† Discounts will be applied at checkout.Make sure you are logged in before you book and the correct price will be applied.

All paying attendees* get lunch and refreshments throughout 5 – 6 April included with their ticket. Please also state any dietary or access requirements when you book.

*Paying attendees denotes all Member, Non-Member and Concessionary bookings. Student member and non-member bookings are not entitled to free lunch and this will be stated on your ticket.
