Course programme
This course runs as a full day: 9.30 – 15.30.
Session one – Geographical knowledge and curriculum design: starting with end in mind.
Session two – Activating and enhancing pupils’ prior knowledge through fieldwork: messy maps and more.
Session three – Connecting with the world: making your curriculum relevant for your pupils using enquiry, place, maps and contemporary issues.
Recordings are provided as standard after each session but live attendance is recommended to make the most of the day.
